


Straight to the fireworks- enjoy the celebration by bike!
Forget fighting for parking, traffic jams, and crowded metros at the 2008 Independence Day Celebration ! RIDE YOUR BIKE and park it safely at WABA's FREE bike valet! Just drop off your bike and pick it up whenever you're ready to leave. Your bike will be safe and secure, and you will enjoy the freedom of your own transportation!
Volunteer at the Bike Valet

How to Get There By Bike
Check out our area maps, and find a safe route to the National Mall. For a map of the bike valet location, other bike parking areas on the mall, and bike-friendly mall routes click here. Due to heavy use, Metro will not be allowing bikes on the Metrorail. However, your bike can still ride for free on DC Metro Busses.

Don't Forget
Certain items are prohibited at the 2008 Independence Day Celebration. This includes personal fireworks, alcoholic beverages, glass bottles, grills, weapons, and knives.
